It was a real home from home and we loved every moment of it. Wonderful scenery in and around the Eden Valley and not too much on the tourist trail- enjoyed chatting to local people as we walked- especially when we weren't sure of the way!
Great to catch up with you Dave and Penny and enjoy your excellent food- need to lose those extra kilos now! Your place is so comfortable and cosy- and what a location!!!!!!!!
Would thoroughly recommend you!

Thank you for the wonderfull welcome, the soft beds and the delicious breakfast, the salmon and eggs were brilliant after all those days of Scottish/English breakfast! And thank you for the little flower, it survived our journey home and hopefully it'll grow roots now...

Only a one night stay, unfortunately, but we received a lovely welcome and a most comfortable room after a long and tiring drive down from Scotland. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you, Penny, for sending us the photo of the "Tornado" - a nice, thoughtful surprise.
