We had a fantastic weekend at "The Limes" which is immaculate and in a beautiful location. Dave and Penny (and Sam the dog) made us feel extremely welcome, the breakfasts were delicious and enormous and the room was amazing - especially the shower in the en suite and the dvd's in the bedroom! We would highly recommend this B&B and definitely visit again in the future.

We had a great time in The Lake District and our stay at The Limes was very comfortable, an excellent breakfast each morning set us up to explore the area with the promise of a good nights sleep at the end of the day. We thank Penny & Dave for making our stay very enjoyable and we look forward to returning another time.

I never stayed in B&Bs before but after visiting the Limes I will! For an affordable price we got immaculately clean accommodation with brand new shower, an excellent quality breakfast, and a lot of attention from the hosts - you wouldn't find it even in a five star hotel. Well done, Penny and Dave!

Amazing bed and breakfast - by far a "cut above" -immaculate with lots of attention to detail which made it a "haven". Hospitality second to none - great food, including fresh bread - and all this at affordable prices. Great base to explore the surrounding area - or just to be still and relax in the rich countryside around.

We really enjoyed staying here and meeting Dave & Penny. The room was lovely and the food was delicious. It was especially nice to smell the bread of a morning, and of course to eat it! The surrounding area is beautiful. Hope to go back there some time.
