We were coming to a Golden Wedding Anniversery & I took the oppertunity to choose 'The Limes' simply because I wanted a trip down memory lane. I used to live in the farm house opposite - so this was the perfect location for us.
We had a simply lovely stay and I endorse all the good comments made by the other guests.Especially about the the views and breakfasts.
The views I remember from when I lived in Colby. We even had a snow fall which made it even more beautiful. I can remember walking to school in the snow only to be turned back because of the pipes being frozen!!!
We couldn't have chosen any where better. Thank you.

Have just enjoyed two fabulous nights of hospitality at The Limes. Penny was very welcoming and had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had a room upstairs which had wonderful views of the river and we woke each morning to the smell of freshly baked bread.The choice at breakfast was extensive and cooked to perfection - what a great way to start the day, enjoying good food with a great view from the conservatory of the countryside. Penny, many thanks for making us so welcome into your home.

Keith and I enjoyed our stay with you and we were made very welcome. The Murton Room which we stayed in was very well laid out with all facilities i.e. Tea/Coffee facilities, fresh water etc. The ensuite bathroom had all the personal items required to make our stay very comfortable. I will certainly recommend you to all our friends who visit that part of the country.

This is the highest standard of bed and breakfast.Warm welcome,great food,room superb. Good location for walking,cycling or an overnight stay if using M6. Highly recommended.
