We had a lovely relaxing break with Dave and Penny, it was great to catch up with our old neighbours and see how happy they are in Appleby. A warm welcome, a beautiful room and tasty food what more could we have asked for.

I had a lovely relaxing time at the Limes. Penny was very friendly and helpful and presents a very tasty wholesome breakfast. Very comfortable bed. The B&B is excellent for reaching places of interest. I hope to come again. Thanks. Admin reply: Glad you enjoyed your stay, do hope we see you again.

Thank you for a wonderful few days at The Limes. We were made to feel very welcome and every little detail had been thought of. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the warm home made bread every morning. Spectacular views from the dining room and house made this an experience to be very much recommended.We cant wait to visit again.

A big THANK YOU from both of us for an excellent overnight visit. We were made to feel very welcome and were quickly put at ease on arrival. The high standard of the accommodation and quality of the food was very good and exceeded expectations. We would thoroughly recommend The Limes both as overnight accommodation and for longer visits where the beautiful countryside around could be explored at leisure. A BIG BIG THANK YOU to both Penny and Dave.We arrived after having a very long drive from the isles of scotland very very tired and were greeted with a very warm welcome and a cuppa. After a quick bite in the local town we went back and Penny made sure a hot Bath was waiting. A big thank you to Dave for parking the car as I was so tired. The beds and rooms are first class and the breakfast was the best in a long time. Its worth coming again just for the home made bread. Mac would like to know where the veggie black pudding came from as he really enjoyed it but forgot to tell you. A big thank you again and Dave I will bring you some single malt when we come again.
